Multiple female patients have reported that a registered nurse sexually molested them while receiving care and treatment at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, California. On June 30, 2021, local authorities arrested Paul Alden Miller for sexual battery and sexual elder abuse involving three separate patients while at the hospital. Mission Hospital employed Miller as a nurse for over four years from 2017 to 2021.

It is has not been determined whether any sexual assault incidents occurred during his stay at Sharp Hospital.
