Jeff Milman was featured in the Los Angeles Daily Journal, Orange County Register and Daily Pilot commenting on the recent product liability lawsuit against Xoft, Inc., a radiation therapy product company, and Hoag Memorial Hospital.  The Xoft Axxent Flexishield Mini is a shielding accessory that is intended to allow patients to avoid traditional post-lumpectomy radiation treatments, however has been found to shed tungsten, a heavy metal compound. Xoft recalled the shielding accessory on February 4, 2011 in response to several reports of tungsten shedding.
