Suing the Veterans Administration for medical negligence can be a daunting but not impossible task.  The gravamen of such action is that the VA and its personnel committed medical negligence which proximately resulted in damages or injuries.  The process is fraught with complicated federal code sections and the need for expert testimony.

The purpose of this article is to educate the reader as to the process that will unfold in attempting to bring a claim against the Veterans Administration and the United States of America.  The bottom line is, in addition to this primer, the veteran or his/her family member needs a competent legal team to assist them.
