The LA Times reports that a recent E. coli outbreak has affected at least 26 people, who suffered symptoms including stomach cramps and diarrhea, after the bacteria was discovered in sandwich wraps and salads distributed by Trader Joe’s, Whole Foods and Walgreens. A recall has been issued in response.

All tainted food items were made by the Richmond, California-based catering company Athertone Foods Inc., and were sold in eight states, including California, Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, Washington, Oregon, Nevada and Utah. More than 90 tons of food products are being recalled. Affected products include Delish Greek Style Orzo Salad, Delish Asian Style Noodle Salad, Delish Vegetarian Wrap, Classic Greek Salad, Southwestern Salad Kit and Wheat Berry Salad Kit, all with expiration dates between September 23 and November 14.

Consumers who purchased any products included in the recall have been instructed to dispose of them.
