A man sustained severe heart damage after misdiagnosis and medical negligence from both his primary care and urgent care physicians. He initially saw his primary care physician due to back pain, and asked whether he should be seen by a cardiologist. The physician denied his request and prescribed him with pain medication. A few days later, he was seen by a urgent care physician who refused to run cardiac tests, and prescribed him with pain medication again. Soon after that, the man was forced to go to an emergency room where it was revealed he had severe heart damage due to negligence on part of the previous physicians. Jeffrey A. Milman of Hodes Milman represented the plaintiff, resulting in a $475,000 settlement.
